It plugs into your computer and saves the files to it so you would have to transfer them to a USB stick. If you are scanning to PDF it will save either in one file or individual files depending on what settings you pick. If you are scanning JPGs it exports these individually but you can chose the export file that it will put them in. Hope this helps
