Just the USB cable to connect the scanner, there is also a shutter button, and that’s all.very easy to set and operate. 

How is the scanning speed? Any delay? 
About 2 seconds.it took me less an hour to scan a whole book, and didn’t miss a page.the scanner has the auto shooting function, is can automatically capture when flipping pages. 

How is the shooting quality? 
The shooting is very clear, both picture quality and scanning mode can be adjusted. With 21-million-pixel, it can still see clearly after zooming in, The scanner can be folded don’t occupying any space. 

What is the max size to scan? 
The A3 size big. It captures almost every document papers I have, the scanner is very handy and functional, the image quality is shows is so good and bright, really worth to try. 

What Windows type does it support? 
I’ve tried win7 and win10, and it all works great. My favorite is the curve flattening function is has, the scanner has a shutter button, insert it and you will find the book scan mode. 

How does scanner’s OCR function work? 
Works great for English characters,sometimes will have some disorder, but it’s all acceptable. And you have to select the text orientation for the best result.

How long will it take to shoot a video?
The scanner won’t take a very short time to shoot a video, about 2 seconds, it normally takes some time to place the book at the right position and aim the center liner, beside that, it’s all very fast and easy.

Yes, the scanner has 9 built in LED lamp. I usually turn on the lights when my room has a very dim light, but normally the image it took it bright enough, even with lights off.

21 megapixel. It’s hard to find a 21 mp scanner with this price, we bought several of this in our office, both scanning speed and definition are excellent.

Does this work for copying pages from books?
Yes, this scanner can scan books, it will split the scanned images into two sides, since it can automatically flatten the book curvature, you don’t have to split the book, and the scanner can also help to output as pdf format.

Is this scanner able to convert documents to Word document?
Yes. The scanner is able to convert files immediately to a word document, you just edit a lit and all done, very convenient.

If you scan a file smaller than A3 size, does it show lots empty spaces?
The scanner will automatically recognize the size of a book or magazine and cuts it into that shape. Since the surrounding parts do not show up together, only the necessary parts are saved.

I bought it for my company, but it is compact and does not take up much space, and I can install a scanner next to my computer so that I can easily scan when I need it without moving my body.

Unfortunately no, this is an excellent device, but it doesn’t support OCR for Mac OS, only compatible with Windows system.

How fast is normal shooting?
Average scan time is between 2 to 3 seconds per page and scans up to tabloid size. the scanner is a real time saver.

Text scanning be converted to pdf?
Of course, the scanner has a very accurate OCR. Scanned handwriting notes, English, and German documents well and exported them into searchable Word, Text, and PDF formats.

Will it take long to scan books?
Less than regular scanners, this is by far the fastest way I could imagine to do so. faster than a flatbed scanner (opening and closing) and faster than using scan apps on a phone.

Will this work offline once software is installed?
The scanner does not need an internet connection to scan. It does need a PC to work with.

Does this scanner work with win10?
I have tried it with 10 and XP. Both work great, highly recommend it!

Can it scan more than one page at once?
The scanner scans an open book so it is scanning both pages of the book at once. You then turn the page and it scans the second spread of two pages. You can place two separate pages on the scan bed and scan them at the same time.

Can i use this for copying books into my computer?
You can definitely take snapshots of whatever you are placing under the document camera, and the OCR works great too.

The snap to take the photo is almost immediate, The scanner is very efficient, when you have lots documents need to be copied, this is a perfect choice.

Is this mac compatible? 
No, the scanner is only work with Windows system, at least works great with my Win10.

How long does it take for normal shooting?
Less than 3 seconds according to my experience, it will take some time to process, but I think it’s the most efficient scanner I have ever used.
